Basic Document Required

• Passport should be valid, minimum for 6 months after the expiry of the proposed visa.

• Passport should be valid, minimum for 3 months after the expiry of the proposed visa.

• Two Photographs. 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms with the head centered in the frame.The face should cover about 70-80 percent of the photo area. The photograph MUST be in color and have only a white background. Photos with dark, busy, or patterned backgrounds will not be accepted.
• Covering letter on business letter head.
• Hotel Conformation.
• Insurance policy more than 15days required. -Minimum coverage of 30.000. - Euro per person.
• Day to day itinerary.
• Return conform ticket.
• Forex Endorsement With receipt or International Credit card copy.
• Income tax paper last 3 years.
• If employed then salary slips last 3 month and leave letter from company.
• Bank statement 6month.
• Company tax paper last 3 years.
• Company bank statement 3 month.
• Copy of marriage certificate wherever necessary for e.g. if wife's passport is in maiden name.
• If the traveler is an employee then leave letter from Organization.
• For honeymoon couple wedding invitation card and NOC letter from parents

• Confirmed return or onward air ticket along with detailed day to day itinerary should be attached along with the application.

• Photos have to meet the following requirements:
• Only photos of a very high quality can be accepted
• Photos should not have any stapler pin marks disfiguring the face or the background
• Size of the photo 35 mm X 45 mm
• Proportion of the head in the photo must be 70 - 80 % of the complete photo
• Photos should have a light background
• The applicable visa fee in Indian Rupees is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.
• The fee is non-refundable.
• Applicable fees will be accepted only in cash, at the time of submission. You are requested to carry suitable change and higher denomination notes to avoid inconvenience.
• Applicants are required to appear personally while submitting visa applications. Business travellers known to this Embassy, or travellers being granted ""bona fide"" status may be exempt from this obligatory personal appearance. These""bona fide travellers"" can submit their application through approved travel agencies or their representative.
• A visa is not a guarantee to access to the Schengen territories. The final authorisation remains within the competence of the immigration officials at the respective borders. The purpose of the visit may not be altered after entering the Schengen territory.
